01 the stone

Most brands look like stone from the outside.

Plain, rough, easy to walk past. Druse is a small studio that knows where to tap.

02 the light inside

Every company has a seam.

It is the one true thing you do better than anyone else. We find it, we tap along it, and the stone opens cleanly, so the light comes out whole.

03 what we make

We grow brands, facet by facet.

  • Identity

Names, marks and the rules that keep them honest.

  • Websites

Places you can walk into, quick on any phone.

  • Launch films

Short, bright, and still remembered the next morning.

04 who we are

A druse is the crystal lining inside a stone.

We are nine designers, engineers and writers who would rather spend a year on one brand than a week on fifty. We work slowly and in layers, the way crystals do.

Questions

What is this page?

A working demo of Geode, a website template from Apex Flow Digital. The studio called Druse is invented. Its name, words and colours are placeholders for your own.

How is the stone made without a 3D model?

The stone is grown in the browser. A finely divided sphere is pushed in and out by noise, hollowed, and split into shards along wandering cracks. The crystals are one six-sided prism with a pointed tip, drawn a few thousand times, each with its own size, angle and colour.

How do the crystals bend the light?

The cave is drawn first. Each crystal then looks back through that picture, bent by the angle of its facets. Red, green and blue bend by slightly different amounts, which is the rainbow fringe you see at the edges, and the colour deepens toward each tip the way real amethyst does.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Geode uses WebGL2, which current phone and desktop browsers support. On phones it grows fewer crystals and renders at a lower resolution, it lowers its own resolution when frames run slow, and it stops drawing when you scroll past it. Without WebGL you see a still image and all of the text.

What if I prefer less motion?

If your device asks for reduced motion, the camera never moves on its own. Each chapter is shown as a still frame, and the text never fades.

Can I change the name, colours and words?

Yes. Every word is plain HTML. One config file sets the name the crystals grow into and holds the four light presets (Amethyst, Emerald, Citrine, Obsidian), which you can edit or add to.
