Why won't my SVG open in Cricut Design Space?
Usually one of four things: the file is not actually an SVG (a PNG renamed .svg), it contains embedded raster images rather than paths, it uses features Design Space ignores (text objects not converted to outlines, clipping masks, filters), or it is larger than the import limit. Most Apex sticker downloads are PNG, so if you are trying to cut one, use Print Then Cut with the PNG instead.

Check what the file really is
Open it in a text editor. A real SVG starts with <svg or <?xml. If it looks like binary noise, it is a raster file with the wrong extension.

Check what is inside it
An SVG that wraps a PNG (an <image> tag) gives Design Space nothing to cut. Text must be converted to outlines. Masks, gradients and filters are dropped or break the import.

The PNG route
Cricut's Print Then Cut takes a PNG, prints it, and cuts around the printed shape using registration marks. For Apex stickers this is the intended path: transparent 300 DPI PNG in, cut sticker out.
Does Apex ship SVG for stickers?+
No. Every sticker ships as a transparent 300 DPI PNG; cut it with Print Then Cut. Do not buy expecting a vector.
What is the Print Then Cut size limit?+
It depends on your machine and Design Space version; check Cricut's current spec. Large designs get split.
Can I trace the PNG into a cut file myself?+
Yes, with Design Space's trace or another vector tool. Bold, flat designs trace cleanly.
