G-code
Definition
G-code is the set of text instructions, produced by a slicer, that tells a 3D printer exactly how to move, heat, and extrude.

G-code is a low-level command language listing every movement and action a printer performs — where to move, how fast, when to extrude, and what temperature to hold. The slicer generates it from your model and settings.
While G-code is human-readable, it is rarely written by hand for 3D printing. It is the final output handed to the printer, the translation of your model into machine motion.
