Can I sell shirts made with designs I bought?
Yes. An Apex license covers use in your own business, and a shirt you print and sell is your product, not ours. What you cannot do is sell the design file itself, and if you are producing for a client, the license runs to 500 units per design per client before you need a higher-volume license.

What the license actually says
Personal and small-business use is permitted: print, post, hang, embed, or paste the design anywhere a business would normally use a designed asset, and print as many copies as that use needs. A shirt is that use. See the full text at /legal/license.

Where the line is
The file is the licensed thing. Printing it on a shirt and selling the shirt is fine. Uploading the file — as a PNG, as a 'digital download', as a 'bundle' — to Etsy, Creative Market, Gumroad or anywhere else as your own product is not.

Client work has a number on it
If you are making shirts for a client rather than your own store, the license allows up to 500 units per design per client. Past that, contact us for a higher-volume license; it exists, it is just not the default.
Do I need to credit Apex on the shirt?+
No. Credit is not required. The one thing you may not do is claim the unmodified design as your own original artwork.
Can I change the design first?+
Yes — edit it freely. Your edits are yours. Editing does not turn the file into something you can resell as a file.
Is the license per shirt or per design?+
Per design. One purchase covers every shirt you print with it for your own business; the 500-unit figure applies per client when you are producing for someone else.
- —It does not let you sell, sublicense or redistribute the design file itself, edited or not.
- —It does not make the design exclusive to you — every buyer of that design holds the same license.
- —It does not cover the physical product: sizing, garment quality and print method are yours to get right.
