Single source of truth
Also known as: SSOT
A single source of truth is one authoritative place where a given piece of information lives, so everyone references the same up-to-date version.
A single source of truth (SSOT) means each fact — a client's address, a price, a project's status — has exactly one canonical home. Everything else links to or pulls from that home rather than keeping its own copy.
The benefit is consistency: when the canonical record changes, every place that references it reflects the change. Scattered duplicate copies are the opposite, and they inevitably drift out of sync.
Notion database
A Notion database is a structured collection of pages in Notion where each entry shares a defined set of properties and can be viewed in multiple ways.
Relation (Notion)
A relation is a property that links entries in one Notion database to entries in another, connecting related records.
CRM
A CRM is a system for storing and managing a business's interactions, contacts, and history with its customers and prospects.
